Le Magazine des Affaires has interviewed Jasmin Capital in its issue of June 2013 (#81) on his perception of the evolution of European infrastructure market:
“Institutional investors, including life insurance and pension fund, are looking for cash yield products, if possible indexed to inflation. Infrastructure “brownfield” corresponds to this type of topic. These are real assets, regulated with indexation clauses linked to inflation. They can generate recurring revenue upon acquisition. The infrastructure market “brownfield” is bringing to grow in the next three years. More and more French institutional investors and even family offices interested in this asset class. In Europe, the Dutch pension funds are very active in infrastructure. German institutions are also becoming more active. At this rate, we could have 2% of European long-term assets invested in infrastructure in the coming years.”
